What truly sets P.J. Whelihan's apart is the commitment to flavor, especially when it comes to their famous wings. As one satisfied guest put it, they’re "some of the best wings" available, particularly the naked mango habanero and hot-n-honey varieties, which play expertly with sweet and spicy profiles that linger delightfully on the palate.

“ Our seating area was somewhat dim, making it difficult to read the menu and bill! Corinne, our server, was excellent! When I asked if the shrimp tacos were spicy, they suggested that I order sauces on the side. They then told me how to sign up for PJ Rewards. Good rec for Aloha Crush! ”
“ I hosted a business networking happy hour at PJ’s in Maple Shade on Tuesday 6/10/25 and it was AWESOME. We had about 35 people and they had us set up in the sunroom with the windows open. First off, the space is inviting, open, and perfect for a free flow event with people coming in and out. It was a beautiful day, so the open windows really made it enjoyable. Next, the staff was totally on point. Our server was Danielle. She took incredible care of everybody at the event, and she also made sure that the food was prepped and taken care of throughout our two hour session. I was really impressed with how attentive she was! Last, everyone loved the food and had a great time at the event. The price was totally reasonable and communication with the GM Candice was easy. Love, love, love this place! We will be back again the future! ”
“ We had a great time and experience tonight again at PJ Welihans off of Rt 38. Our food was really good, actually a step up from your typical bar food. We started out with some wings, crispy and good flavor! We enjoyed our drinks and waited for our food. Erin was our server/bartender, she was awesome, very attentive and checked on us frequently. We had a french dip and a chicken sandwich, both were really good, prepared to order. Good place for sports, friendly staff, cold beer, and good food. ”
“ I don’t say this lightly when I say PJ’s has some of the best wings I’ve ever had. They were unexpectedly better than I anticipated. My wife had the naked mango haberno and I had the classic hot-n-honey. Both had a great sweet and spicy flavor profile. We also split an order of fries that were fairly good. Will be returning for the wings! ”
“ My family and I’s experience here was great. We were seated immediately. The food was hot and delicious. Restrooms were clean. The waitress checked in on us when needed & the environment was very soothing. It was a great lunch time out. ”
“ It was a little dark where we were seated which made it hard to even read menu and bill! Our server Corinne was fabulous! Suggested I get sauces on side for shrimp tacos when I asked about spicy or not, and should us how to sign up for PJ rewards! Aloha crush was good rec! ”
“ One of my favorite places to go. I love the wicked chicken nachos, boneless wings, famous fries, and the drinks! And going for trivia on Wednesdays is super fun. I go here all the time and I’ve never had a bad experience ”
“ This was my FIRST visit to this bar and I am impressed. Their covered patio is large and has a full size bar area with plenty of tables. The menu is not extensive but has all the typical choices for a sports bar. GREAT selection of beers, including some seasonal beers. Food was good. We had wings with two different sauces. And Nashville chicken sandwich. Chicken was made right and had great flavor, but the bun compared to the chicken breast was too SMALL. Wish it came with more than two pickles. Service was GREAT. The lady helping us checked in with our table often and was on top of her game. Glad to see plenty of parking in the back. Place did get busy after 5 pm on Wednesday so I can only expect it’s busy most of the time ”
